Why we built it

The Torrent works like a giant syringe. Its front end goes into the water, the plunger handle comes back and the 8 oz chamber fills. Shove the handle forward and everything comes out in one heavy splash.

How it plays

That makes it a close-range specialist — perfect at the side of the pool, where reloading takes one stroke. It is light, simple and nearly impossible to break with rough play.
